Brian “Chic’s” Ride November 2, 2008 – Quarter Keg Pub, Charlton, MA
WHAT A DAY!
My family and I want to give a huge THANK YOU to first Paul Cote, for his enormous help and compassion in making the event possible on such short notice and the extraordinary efforts of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Survivor’s Fund in helping families.
Special thanks to all members, their wives and friends of Blackstone Valley Motorcycle Survivors Fund for all your work and preparation and Southeastern County Motorcycle Survivors Fund for co-sponsoring the event. AND a BIG thanks to all who rode that chilly day in honor of Brian “Chic” who was killed on his motorcycle Oct. 6, 2007 while riding with his brother in the Berkshire’s.
Thank you to all the volunteers, especially the “team” at the Quarter Keg Pub and “Jim” from Southbridge, MA for taking pictures and videos, we could not have done it without you!
We would like to extend a special appreciation to Senator Stephen M. Brewer for making an appearance and expressing condolences to our family and his heartfelt concerns for Motorcycle Safety and Awareness in Massachusetts.
We wanted to keep Brian’s memory alive by doing something he loved and the day did so much more than that…… It was just overwhelming to have your support all around us! It helped to talk with you and hear your stories of friends and family that are gone and so deeply missed! We will never forget any of you! You are in our hearts forever…
Due to the generous donations, we were able to purchase a headstone for Brian’s grave and have already set the date for the 2nd Annual Brian “Chic’s” Ride August 23, 2009 @ Halligan’s in Auburn, Ma. Hopefully the 2nd ride will raise more money to support families in need and to help bring a little peace to their life while dealing with the loss of loved ones!
Love you all, stay safe and live well,
Deborah Ceccarini, Nicole (Ceccarini) Brown and Lisa Ceccarini
