The Book of the $5,000,000.00 Jackpot Scratch Tickets was, . . . Steve Chigas owner of Steve’s Auto Specialties in Peabody, who purchased his ticket at Witch City Cycles in Salem, who sold about 50 tickets. We appreciate their support. We have called him and will drop the tickets off at Witch City Cycles tomorrow for Steve to pick up. Good luck Steve. Hope you win big!!!
The Gift Certificate for the Rider Training Course at Cycles 128 was won by Don Lewis of Peabody, MA. He purchased his ticket on-line, and has been contacted. The Certificate will be mailed to him Monday or Tuesday. Thanks to Cycles 128 ! for the donation !
“Katy” May, who pours drinks at JR’s, won the third place prize of her $10.00 back. She purchased the ticket at today’s event and helped sell over 50 tickets at JR’s. Katy graciously donated that back to the MMSF !
The 50-50 raffle ticket – $150 to winner Bob Colby (from the South Shore who came up with Elisa Mello and Tom Newhook), pulled by Bill & Deb Hillman’s 3-5 year old grandchild.
GREAT food, good egg nog and GREAT music.
The Event was well attended, with special invited guests, including Meagan (Noury) Donovan, who helped with the 50/50; Jackie Monahan of Haverhill, Elisa Mello of Middleboro, Wendy Erickson of Danvers, Felicia Selig of Essex, and (newbie) Sue Hart of Merrimac, who suffered serious injuries in an August accident.
As a result of the generous donations of riders throughout the year supporting the MMSF, all special invited guests were given holiday gift cards from Simon Malls and Shaw’s, to help them out with Christmas expenses. It what is all about, ‘helping our own!’ We have a few more to give out.
We would like to personally thank JR and his crew for all their hospitality. GREAT food and spirited egg nog. GREAT music by John Jerome Music!
Top tickets sellers, who we appreciate TONS included JR’s, Witch City Cycles, MMSF Board Members Dennis Palazzo and Al DePietro, Dianne Thomas of Ipswich, Alan Kline of Lynn Ladder and MMA Essex County Rep., the Cape Ann Crew, Ed Bjork, Louise from the Upper Deck Lounge (Salisbury) and Johnnie T of Gloucester. A tip of the beanie to the Salisbury and Cape Ann Chambers of Commerce for their help also.
Watch for our next raffle/beach party coming during Daytona Bike Week and a special event to in late January/early February to help Sue Hart with her expenses.
